As much as I hate to admit this, I am not much of a breakfast or brunch type of girl. I know it is the most important meal of the the day but for some reason I’m never hungry in the morning and if I do decide to eat something its most likely just yogurt with some granola. In the past I have tried going to brunch a few times but I was never a huge fan.
This weekend I decided to give brunch another try. I have had several people recommend this place in Conshohocken, PA called “Brunch”. This small town suburb of Philadelphia is where I used to live so I was actually surprised that I had never heard of it. We arrived a little after it opened on Saturday (it opens at 8 a.m.) and I was amazed that it was already pretty full. We were seated immediately and the entire staff was welcoming. Our waitress greeted us right away. She was friendly and very pleasant and took our drink orders soon after we sat down.
My first glance at the menu they had a ton of GF options from Omlettes, Veggie Scrambled Eggs, Cranberry Pear Salad and even Arugula Toast. They have GF breads and bagels available too. I decided to get the Garden Frittata which included fresh spinach, bell peppers, sauteed onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It was also served with roasted potatoes which you can get with peppers and onions, but I oped for just plain. And, I also decided to try their Berry Parfait only because it sounded so good and fresh, plus they make their own granola (GF as well). Everything ended up being very good, the Frittata was very flavorful and the Swiss cheese on top was an excellent addition. The potatoes were also good, they had a nice crispiness on the outside and a soft inside (just how I like). The portion size was pretty big so I wasn’t able to finish it all especially since I had the parfait to eat which was equally good. The berries were fresh and the granola was yummy!
I will definitely go back just so I can try the other GF options on the menu, If you like breakfast/brunch this is definitely a good place to try!
