One Word – Excellent!

This past weekend I went to a place called Eddie V’s Prime Seafood which is located in King of Prussia, PA. They are known for their seafood and award winning wine list. They have fish that arrive daily and they have a variety of USDA prime steaks. They also have a separate gluten free menu with a lot to choose from. I have to say that my meal from start to finish was excellent. The seafood was extremely fresh, the service/server was great, the atmosphere was nice and they have a lounge area by the bar that has live music. I do want to mention that it is a little on the pricey side and you will definitely need a reservation. The do have a bar area which is nice and cozy with high-top tables but I would recommend reserving those as well.

As our appetizer (there were so many I wanted to try) we decided on the Chilled Gulf Shrimp which came with cocktail sauce, horseradish and spicy mustard. They were absolutely delicious! Extremely fresh and a decent size. I wanted 3 more orders! (Sorry I don’t have a picture to post I ate them so quickly I forgot to take one)

The next course I went with the Iceberg BLT salad which had crisp bacon, blue cheese and buttermilk chive dressing. This was equally delicious and full of flavor. It was not drowned in dressing and had the right amount of all ingredients and I liked the fact that the bacon was left in strips instead of crumbled.

As my entree I ordered the Swordfish Steak which was broiled and came with avocado, pink grapefruit, cilantro and red chile. I was skeptical about ordering the swordfish only because I am not a huge fish person but this was fantastic. The fish was flaky, juicy and all of the flavors from the dish paired so well together and the pop of chile was a nice touch. The sides do come separate, so we ordered the sauteed spinach with garlic and Parmesan and my boyfriend ordered the butter poached lobster mashed potatoes. The only negative thing I do have to say is the spinach was just a tad too salty but still good. My boyfriend liked the masked potatoes and he also ordered the filet which he said was really good and cooked to perfection.

All in all the we both really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back. I’ll actually be in California in a few weeks and may just have to visit one while I am out there. Great experience!
